Name
When you choose this option, it takes you to a menu where you can change your Spirit’s name (Kingdom Hearts Union X [Cross]).
Outfits
This option allows you to change the parts of your Spirit. By choosing the different tabs, as seen in the spirit avatar menu picture below, you can change according to the body part. Some of the animals included are a cat, dog, horse, giraffe, fox, bear, raccoon, and many more. You can make all body parts match a specific animal, or you can mix them. During each month, there are missions that you can complete that earn you more parts. So far, each month has been a different animal. After the month is over, a new set appears. If you did not get all the previous parts, there isn’t another way to get them as of right now. So, if you didn’t get that raccoon tail, then you won’t be able to get it again (Kingdom Hearts Union X [Cross]).
Gear

Tricks
The Tricks section tells you what the Spirit has learned when it leveled up. These abilities are actions the Spirit does to help you in battle. By tapping on each trick, it will tell you what it does and how it is triggered. They are mostly random or have a percentage at which they will work. The trick “Combo I’ is provided as an example in the picture below (Kingdom Hearts Union X [Cross]).

Spirit Medal Slot
While this ability appears in the “Equipment” menu, the Spirit gives you a sixth medal slot called the Spirit Medal Slot. This means that you can bring another medal to battle. So, there is a total of six medals you can place on your Keyblade (seven with your Friend Medal). The medal in this slot will get a damage boost from the Spirit’s level. The medal in the picture below will have an additional 3.800% boost in damage when its special attack is used. It gets 3.300% from the Spirit and the additional 0.500% from the subslot section. This slot is where you should put your highest damage inducing medal (Kingdom Hearts Union X [Cross]).

Training Medals
The Spirits are also capable of training medals. This gives the medal an extra trait. The special traits can range from increasing health, strength, or defense; providing an extra attack which uses 120% of the original power; or providing extra damage in raid bosses. To do this, you have to tap on the Spirit Icon. You would then select the Train button, drag a medal into the slot, and tap Train again. After this, you will receive a new trait in the Special Trait box. The Spirit will have to recharge for twenty hours before you can do this again. If you do not like the trait you received, you can retrain it and get another. From there, you would either tap “OK” to change the trait or tap “SKIP” to keep the old one (Kingdom Hearts Union X[Cross]).
